What You Are Investing In

You are not paying for a weekly hour to talk about your feelings. You are investing in understanding exactly what has been keeping you stuck, learning the skills to interrupt your anxiety loop, and building a version of yourself who can move through anxiety instead of being derailed by it.

This work touches everything. Your career, because anxiety has been making you too fearful of asking for that promotion or applying to jobs you don't feel 100% qualified for. Your relationships, because people pleasing and perfectionism affect every connection in your life. Your sense of self, because anxiety has been narrating stories about who you are, but you are not those stories.

The skills you build here do not expire when therapy ends. You will use them in your next role, your next relationship, your next chapter. You are not just solving a current problem. You are building a toolkit for everything that comes after.

That is not an expense. That is a return.

Why Not Social Media or AI?

There is more mental health content available right now than anyone could ever consume. AI tools, Instagram therapists, YouTube explainers, self-help books. You have probably tried some of it. And it probably helped, a little, sometimes.

Here is what none of it can do: understand your specific OCD and anxiety loop. Notice the pattern you have not seen yet. Ask the question that shifts something. Hold you accountable to the exposure you have been avoiding. Sit with you in the discomfort and help you move through it in real time.

There is also something worth naming that is harder to say. Some of the content you have consumed, the therapist on Instagram who always seems to get it, the AI that reflects your thoughts back to you in a way that feels eerily accurate, it can feel like connection. It can feel like being understood. And that feeling is real, but it is not the same connection as a one to one therapeutic relationship.

Feeling seen by content is not the same as being known by a person. An algorithm learns what you engage with. A therapist learns who you are. For the kind of work we are doing here, the difference matters enormously. OCD and anxiety are pattern problems. Interrupting them requires someone who can see your specific pattern, in real time, and work with you to break this loop. That cannot be automated. It cannot be scrolled to. It requires a human who is actually there.

Anxiety is not a knowledge problem. If it were, you would have solved it by now. It is a pattern problem, and patterns require a therapist who can see yours specifically and work with you to change them.

You Are Getting a Specialist

I am not a generalist who treats a little of everything. I have spent years and significant resources training specifically in ERP and OCD treatment so you receive care that is calibrated to what you are dealing with. I completed a postdoctoral fellowship specifically in OCD treatment and hold the Behavior Therapy Training Institute certification, known as BTTI, which is an intensive training program offered through the International OCD Foundation. It is one of the most rigorous and respected training pathways for OCD specialists. These trainings are the reason I can see your loop and know exactly how to help you interrupt it.

The two approaches I use, ERP and ACT, work together because they target the loop from two angles. ERP interrupts what you do in response to anxiety, the avoiding, the reassurance seeking, the rituals. ACT changes how you relate to the anxious thoughts themselves, making those thoughts background noise rather than something you have to act on or push away. Together they do not just reduce symptoms. They change your relationship to your anxiety entirely.

I also work with a small caseload on purpose. Fewer clients means more attention, more energy for pattern recognition, and the capacity to show up every session having thought about you specifically.

I also offer intensive programs for women who want to make significant progress in a concentrated period of time. Pricing and details are on the Intensives Page.
